Jared writes music as Shape and Noise, creating melodic, texural music that combines combines acoustic and electronic influences. The music is available to stream on the usual platforms and limited edition cassettes are available on bandcamp.

Writing under this moniker he has also composed music for visual art projects including a collaborative installation at the Tate Modern, London.

Jared Sweetman is a multi-instrumentalist composer and producer specialising in music for media. Writing and recording from his studio in Sussex, UK, his work has been widely used in advertising, television, short films, and gallery installations.

Working with a characterful palette of sounds sourced from an ever-growing collection of instruments, his recordings are noted for their warmth, simplicity and human touch. 

His taste and attention to detail have made him a favoured collaborator, bringing a unique sonic signature to any project.
